Vexo is a vertical “volume” chandelier. The key is planning the lowest globe height first (clearance and sightlines), then choosing the canopy width that matches the footprint of your space.

1) Pick the right width: 60 cm vs 100 cm

Choose 23.62" (60 cm) if:

• Your foyer/entry is compact and you want a cleaner, tighter cluster.
• The chandelier is near a doorway, closet, or tight circulation path.
• You want the fixture to read “tall and sculptural” without widening the visual footprint.

Choose 39.37" (100 cm) if:

• The ceiling is taller and the room volume is larger (two-story foyer, big stair void, open living room).
• You want the chandelier to “fill” the space from more viewing angles.
• Your entry zone is wide enough that a narrow cluster would feel undersized.

Simple rule:

• If the chandelier area feels narrow (under ~6 ft wide), start with 60 cm.
• If the chandelier area feels wide (6 to 10 ft+ open zone), start with 100 cm.

2) Hanging height rules by room (use these targets)

Two-story foyer / tall entry (most common use):

• Many U.S. layouts look balanced when the lowest globe sits around 9 to 12 ft above the finished floor.
• If there’s a second-floor overlook, adjust so the cluster looks centered in the vertical void and doesn’t feel “too low” from the upper railing viewpoint.Staircase / stairwell:
• Maintain at least 7 ft (84") clearance above walk paths and steps at all points.
• In stair voids, the best look is usually a longer staggered drop, so the cluster visually follows the vertical space rather than stopping short.

Living room (open ceiling or double-height):

• If the fixture is above a seating area, aim for the lowest point around 7.5 to 9 ft from the floor.
• If it’s near a walkway, go higher so it doesn’t interrupt traffic flow.

Dining room (only if ceiling is tall and table is large):

• For table use, your lowest globe should typically land 30 to 36 inches above the tabletop.
• If your ceiling height is standard (8 to 9 ft), Vexo may feel too “vertical” unless you keep the drop tighter and choose the 60 cm version.

3) How to set the drop (the practical method)

1. Measure ceiling height (finished floor to ceiling).
2. Decide your target “lowest globe from floor” using the room rules above.
3. Subtract to find your total drop length.
4. Use the adjustable wires to set the cluster so the lowest globe hits that target.
5. Final step: step back and confirm the cluster is visually centered from the most common viewing angles (entry doorway, stair landing, living room seating).

4) Remote-dimmable vs fixed warm 3000K (what customers actually notice)

Fixed Warm 3000K:

• Best if the home leans warm (wood floors, beige/cream walls, brass finishes).
• Simplest option for a consistent look

Remote-dimmable model:

• Best if the chandelier needs to shift between bright functional light and soft mood light.
• Useful for hospitality (cafes, hotel lobbies) and open-plan homes.

5) Sloped ceiling notes

• Multi-point mounting helps keep the cluster visually straight, but on stronger slopes the installer may need to adjust anchor points and wire lengths more carefully.
• If the chandelier is installed on a slope, the goal is to make the cluster’s “center of gravity” look vertical, not to make every wire identical.

Room Placement Ideas

• Two-story foyer: Use the 100 cm width for big volumes; it reads full and balanced from multiple angles.
• Stairwell: Center over the open void and set a longer drop so the cluster follows the vertical run.
• Living room (high ceiling): Place above the seating zone, not in a traffic corridor.
• Hospitality (lobby/cafe): Remote-dimmable version gives better day-to-night flexibility.
