This fixture reads best when you plan clearance first, then set the drop for balance in the room. Because the spokes are adjustable, you can “shape” the light to fit your table or seating area.

1) Picking 6 vs 8 vs 10 vs 12 heads

• 6 Heads: Best for smaller dining areas, compact breakfast nooks, or tighter living room seating groups.
• 8 Heads: A strong everyday choice for most dining rooms and open-plan table areas.
• 10 Heads: For larger tables or rooms where you want a fuller starburst look and wider light spread.
• 12 Heads: Best for big dining rooms, great rooms, and spaces with long sightlines where the fixture needs more presence.

2) Hanging height rules by room (practical)

Dining room (over a table)

• Target the bottom of the fixture at 30–36" above the tabletop.
• If ceilings are taller than average, you can go slightly higher, but keep it low enough to feel connected to the table.

Kitchen island

• If you install this above an island, aim for the lowest point at 30–36" above the countertop.
• Use the rotatable spokes to keep light aimed toward the work surface, not into eye level.

Living room (over a coffee table or seating zone)

• Aim for the lowest point around 6.5–7.5 ft from the finished floor.
  If the fixture sits near a walkway, keep it closer to 7.5 ft to protect head clearance.

Bedroom

• Over a bed or open floor area, keep the lowest point at 7 ft or higher.
• In smaller bedrooms, the 6 or 8 head version typically feels more proportional.

Entryway

• Keep at least 7 ft clearance from the floor.
• In taller entries, hang it higher so the fixture sits comfortably in the “upper third” of the space.

3) How to use the rotatable spokes (quick tips)

• For round tables, rotate spokes into a clean radial symmetry.
• For oval tables, open spokes slightly along the long direction to visually “stretch” the footprint.
• If you see glare from a seat, rotate that spoke a few degrees away from the line of sight.

Room Placement Ideas

• Round dining table: Center the canopy over the table, then rotate spokes to mirror the table shape.
• Open living room: Place above a coffee table to create a defined focal zone without filling the whole ceiling.
• Kitchen island: Use a higher hang and aim spokes toward the prep area for functional brightness.
• Bedroom: Install over an open area or seating corner to add structure without heavy visual weight.
