Use the furniture length as your starting point. A common guideline is for the chandelier to be about 60–75% of the table, island or sofa length.

Choose your length

• 39.37" (100 cm) - good over round or small rectangular tables around 48–60", or compact sofas
• 47.24" (120 cm) - suits 4–6 seat dining tables or islands around 60–72" long
• 59.06" (150 cm) - works for 6–8 seat layouts with surfaces around 72–84"
• 70.89" (180 cm) - for larger 8–10 seat tables or islands around 84–96"
• 78.74" (200 cm) - suits generous tables or double islands around 96–108"
• 86.61" (220 cm) - statement length for extra-long dining setups or open living rooms with wide seating groups

Hanging height tips

• Over a dining table or island: keep the lowest point of the branches roughly 30–36" above the tabletop
• Over a coffee table or in a lounge area: aim for the bottom of the fixture to sit about 7' above the floor in walkways
• Rooms with 9–10 ft ceilings: usually you will shorten the cables so Alba hangs comfortably without blocking views
• Very high ceilings: start a little higher, then lower gradually until the light feels balanced with your sightlines and artwork

Always have a licensed electrician complete installation and final height adjustments.

Room Placement Ideas

• Dining room - center Alba along the table so each place setting gets gentle, even light
• Kitchen island - use a mid-length size to follow the island and highlight prep and seating zones
• Living room - float above a main coffee table to visually anchor the seating area
• Bedroom - choose a shorter length over the foot of the bed or in front of a feature wall
• Hospitality spaces - use longer versions in boutique restaurants, hotel lobbies or reception desks for a strong first impression
