1) Pick your size based on wall scale

Think of Minas like a piece of wall art. The right size depends more on the wall surface than the room square footage.

• Size 1 (21.65 in L, 35.43 in H): Best for tighter wall sections: beside a fireplace surround, next to a mirror, at a stair landing, or as a bedside feature (one on each side of the bed).
• Size 2 (29.53 in L, 43.31 in H): The most flexible “statement” size. Works well on living room accent walls, above a console, or on taller hallway walls that need visual lift.
• Size 3 (37.40 in L, 53.15 in H): Best for tall, open walls and double-height spaces. Choose this when you want Minas to read from a distance, like a focal sculpture, not just a sconce.

Rule of thumb: If the wall feels empty from 10–15 feet away, you usually need Size 2 or 3.

2) Plan height and placement like artwork

Because this is a sculptural sconce, “standard sconce height” is only the starting point.

• Typical install height: center of the piece around 60–66 inches from the floor in hallways and living rooms.
• Stair walls: align the visual center with the average eye line on the stairs, not the lower floor.
• Above a sofa/console: keep the bottom of the sculpture comfortably above head level and visually centered with the furniture below.

3) Choose the right brightness and dimming setup

Minas is dimmable, which is critical for a piece like this because it often functions as ambient lighting.

• For mood lighting, use it dimmed low and pair with ceiling or floor lighting for the main brightness.
• For brighter functional light, size up (more G4 points) so the light spreads across the wall rather than creating hot spots.

4) Choose the finish based on your room materials

5) Installation notes that matter
