Use your table or island length as the main reference. A common guideline is for the chandelier to be around 60–75% of the table or island length.

Choose your length

• 49.2" (125 cm): Good for 4–6 seat tables around 60–72" long. Works over smaller kitchen islands and compact dining nooks
• 59.1" (150 cm): Suits 6–8 seat tables around 72–84" long. Nice fit for standard one-level kitchen islands in the 6–7 ft range
• 70.9" (180 cm): For larger 8–10 seat tables around 84–96" long. Works over longer islands or in living rooms as a main feature above a sofa and coffee table
• 78.7" (200 cm): Statement size for 10–12 seat tables or islands around 96–108" long. Strong choice for open-plan rooms and restaurant banquettes

All lengths share an adjustable suspension of up to about 78.7" (200 cm), so your installer can set the drop for 8 ft ceilings or taller spaces.

Hanging height tips:

Dining table or kitchen island:

• Keep the bottom of the chandelier about 30–36" above the tabletop
• Make sure the branches and birds sit high enough so people can see across the table comfortably

Foyer or living room:

• In general living areas, aim for at least 7 ft (84") clearance under the lowest point in walkways
• For 9–10 ft ceilings in an entry, many U.S. designers place the fixture so the bottom sits around 7.5–8 ft from the floor

Sloped ceilings:Have your electrician level the canopy and adjust each cable so the branch frame hangs straight even if the ceiling is angled

Room Placement Ideas:

• Dining room table - Center over the table; choose the 59.1" or 70.9" length so the branch line roughly follows the table shape.
• Kitchen island - Use 49.2" or 59.1" for medium islands, or 70.9" for longer layouts to keep work areas evenly lit.
• Foyer / entry - Hang the 49.2" or 59.1" size in a hallway or small foyer to greet guests with a warm, nature-inspired focal point.
• Living room - Position above a coffee table or conversation area to visually anchor the seating zone.
• Restaurant / café - Run the longer sizes over banquettes or communal tables for a soft, story-like atmosphere with the bird accents.
