Choose the right size

Hanging height tips

• Staircase / stairwell: Keep at least 7 ft (84") clearance above walking paths and steps. In open stair voids, many designers place the lowest crystal detail about 18–24" above the highest step people regularly use.
  
• Foyer / entry: In tall entries, aim for a drop that keeps the chandelier visually centered in the volume while maintaining a comfortable bottom clearance, often around 9–10 ft from the finished floor in 18–20 ft spaces.
