For a balanced look, your linear chandelier should typically be about 1/2 to 2/3 the length of the surface below it.

• Size 1 (37.40 in) : Best over surfaces around 48 to 66 in long. Examples: 4 to 5.5 ft dining table, compact kitchen island, or breakfast table.
• Size 2 (47.24 in): Best over surfaces around 72 to 90 in long. Examples: 6 to 7.5 ft dining table, standard kitchen island, or long console table.

Quick spacing rule: try to leave about 6 to 12 inches of open space from each end of the table or island to the nearest edge of the fixture. This keeps the light centered and avoids a crowded look.

2) Hanging height that works in real homes

Because this is a linear fixture with integrated LED, height plays a big role in comfort and glare control.

• Over a dining table: hang so the bottom of the fixture sits 30 to 36 in above the tabletop.
• Over a kitchen island or counter: aim for 30 to 36 in above the countertop.
• In open walkways: keep at least 7 ft of clearance from the floor to the bottom of the fixture.

Your wires are adjustable up to 39.37 in, so you can fine-tune the drop. If you have tall ceilings, keep the chandelier low enough to visually connect with the table or island, not floating too high near the ceiling.

3) Dimming compatibility in the U.S.

This chandelier is dimmable, but smooth dimming depends on the switch and driver pairing.

• Use a compatible LED dimmer (many installations work best with an ELV or quality LED-rated dimmer).
• If you experience flicker, stepping, or limited dim range, switching to a higher-quality LED dimmer usually solves it.

4) When one fixture is not enough

If your island is longer than about 9 ft, many kitchens look better with two linear fixtures spaced evenly, or one larger statement piece if you want a single focal point. For very large spaces, you can also add matching wall lighting for layered lighting.

5) Match the finish and style to your room

Aris reads as rustic because of the branch form, but the continuous LED line keeps it modern.

• Works great with wood, stone, black hardware, warm metals, and natural textures.
